Lunatick Racing LLC is the brain child of Phillip Moore, an aspiring amateur racer who caught the motor sports bug fairly late in life (Phil drove his first HPDE event in September 2011). With over three decades of technical experience in the corporate world, and with broad expertise in computer and network infrastructure, he is applying those skills to the technical side of the racing world. As an avid amateur videographer, it was only natural that a collection of video cameras would find it’s way into his arsenal of tools for conquering tracks.
When he created LR, it was originally planned to be a commercial venture, and offering video and data consulting services, but those plans have been shelved and we’re focusing entirely on amateur racing, currently in the SCCA. The primary goal is to have as much fun, at as many track, with as many people, as humanly possible. We hope to evolve this into a racing team, competing in both sprint and endurance races, and this blog will serve to document our progress.
